LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 “Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp” DLC Pack Released

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced the latest DLC for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, consisting of a host of new playable characters and a completely new level for the game. Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp Character and Level Pack is available for CAD$3.99/US$2.99 and adds a new level and characters inspired by the classic comic series in celebration of the upcoming film, Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp, which will release tomorrow in theatres.

The new level takes Ant-Man and the Wasp to Hank Pym’s forgotten research lab, where his old adversary Egghead is hatching a fiendish plan. Players are tasked with battling Egghead’s goons and a giant chicken mech, which sounds like a fantastic use of anyone’s time. New unlockable characters include Ant-Man, Wasp, Egghead, Crossfire, Stinger, The Human Fly, Giant-Man, and Ghost, which add to the main game’s roster of over 200 Super Heroes and Super Villains.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 features an original branching storyline, co-written by award-winning comics writer Kurt Busiek, and transports players into a cosmic battle across a myriad of Marvel locations ripped from time and space into the hub world of Chronopolis. Packed with signature LEGO humor, the game follows well in the footsteps of its predecessor, offering an entertaining romp either solo or with a friend.

The Ant-Man and the Wasp character and level pack can be purchased separately or as part of the Season Pass which includes six Level Packs and four Character Packs, including the previously released Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Black Panther, Runaways, Cloak & Dagger and Infinity War content, and the Champions, Out of Time, and Agents of Atlas Character Packs. The Season Pass is available for CAD$19.99 suggested retail price or as part of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Deluxe Edition on digital stores.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is available on PlayStation®4, Xbox One®, Nintendo Switch™, and Windows® PC.
